Medical Insurance

For patients that have medical conditions like diabetes, cataracts, infections, and more, we may be able to bill your exam to your medical insurance. Most medical insurance plans, including Medicare, are accepted at our office. Our office is not a Medicaid provider.

Vision Insurance

Dr. Santos strives to provide the best and most comprehensive care, as well as the best optical products, to our patients. When a practice takes vision insurance, the expectation is set to spend less time with patients, and those practices are then heavily restricted on what labs and products to use - much of the time these products are not what is best for the patient. In order to not have our hands tied to any particular companies and to provide the best care possible to our patients, Hamburg Vision Center does not take vision insurance directly. We can, however, fill out all necessary forms to simplify the process of receiving any out-of-network reimbursement that you are eligible for from your vision plan.
